About Renewed Strength

Renewed Strength Personal Training Studio is a one-of-a-kind place focused on fitness and results.  There are no memberships, no monthly contracts and no corporate or franchise obligations.

John Foelber, owner and operator, is a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Level II – golf fitness instructor, FMS Level 1 Certified and National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM)-certified personal trainer.  He has over 15 years of experience as a personal trainer at both the Bel Air Athletic Club in Harford County and at the Columbia Association gyms in Howard County.  More recently, he was the Fitness Director at Cattail Creek Country Club in Howard County.  For John, these experiences kindled a desire to build a studio where training was the primary focus. Renewed Strength opened January 2017.

Renewed Strength is a training studio, not a gym, so the difference is apparent the minute you walk in the door.  There is no check-in desk or card to swipe.  There are no treadmills or elliptical machines.  There is no waiting for the machine you need.  It is just you and your trainer, with access to the full facility, able to complete the workout that was carefully planned with your needs in mind.  The studio is designed to provide a positive workout atmosphere that is 100% results driven.

Additionally, the studio is furnished with carefully-chosen, quality equipment.  Featuring strength pieces from reputable manufactures such as EliteFTS, Hammer Strength, and Sorinex, York Barbell, Ivanko, Rogue Fitness, and Mike Bartos PowerCenter.

Since we do not have excess, unused equipment, there is also plenty of room in our 1900 square foot facility for semi-private sessions and Lift Local training.

Our studio is conveniently located in Eldersburg, MD, on Liberty Road, less than ½ mile east of Highway 32.  We are about 30 minutes from Columbia, Westminster and Baltimore.

He gives strength to the weary
    and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
    and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
    will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
    they will run and not grow weary,
    they will walk and not be faint.

(Isaiah 40:29-31)
